The death of Steve Dymond following his appearance on The Jeremy Kyle Show last month is a sombre lesson on the power that television has over people’s lives.
The participant on the controversial daytime programme had failed a lie-detector test, having been accused of infidelity by his fiancée. Following his death, the show was initially taken off air and then axed by ITV Chief Executive Carolyn McCall.

Crane, who is also a champion surfer, talked to the students about her life in the media. “People sometimes forget about us down here, but don’t! There are honestly so many incredible films. It’s mad to think that these people are just starting out,” she said.

The Comedy Bus (w/t) will follow six comedians as they travel to each of their hometowns to see how they have changed over the years.
Joining Dommett and Stirling for a trip down memory lane are Mock the Week regular Tom Allen, Suzi Ruffell, Darren Harriott and Kiri Pritchard-Mclean.
