The one-hour extravaganza, titled Diversity Steal The Show, will include celebrity guest appearances, pranks, dance routines, and a competition offering one amateur performer the chance to share the stage with Banjo and co.

The agreement with Syco Entertainment and FreemantleMedia UK extends ITV’s long-standing relationship with Cowell.

Timewasters is a comedy written, created and starring writer and actor Daniel Lawrence Taylor (Uncle) about a struggling South London jazz four-piece who get flung back to the 1920s by a urine-sodden lift in a dilapidated block of flats.
