Comedian and impressionist Morgana Robinson (The Windsors, Toast of London) stars in this new mockumentary series about a fictional talent agency, in which she plays the entire roster of celeb talent.
The first series, which started in late August and now has two episodes left to air, has averaged 7.7 million viewers so far, making it ITV’s highest rating drama this year.
In it, Jenna Coleman stars as the young queen and Tom Hughes as her cousin, and future husband, Albert.
Both have confirmed that they will reprise their roles in the next series. It is not yet known which cast members from series one will join them.
Daisy Goodwin, who wrote and executive produced the show, said: “Even though she reigned in the 19th Century, Victoria is a heroine for our times.”
The agreement with Syco Entertainment and FreemantleMedia UK extends ITV’s long-standing relationship with Cowell.
ITV’s Kevin Lygo was “delighted” that the shows were remaining on with the commercial broadcaster, adding “They are defining shows for us, ones that we are very proud to have as part of our entertainment slate.”

Having returned to the force after her husband left her, she herself becomes a suspect in the case down to her violent anger-induced blackouts.
Timewasters is a comedy written, created and starring writer and actor Daniel Lawrence Taylor (Uncle) about a struggling South London jazz four-piece who get flung back to the 1920s by a urine-sodden lift in a dilapidated block of flats.
Sex Transition Clinic (working title) will be part-filmed by 24 hours in A&E-style fixed-rig cameras.
The series will observe trans people at every stage of the process – from early consultations, to starting hormonal treatment, to navigating the final steps of their transition. The dedicated clinic staff who guide patients through the procedure will also be featured.

Fearless is a contemporary thriller about Emma Blunt, a solicitor with a reputation for defending lost causes. Starring Peaky Blinders actor Helen McCrory in the lead role, the show is described as "in the crash zone where law and politics collide.”
