Channel 4 announces line-up for Stand Up To Cancer 2018

In the aim to fight cancer, the RTS award-winning Stand Up To Cancer resumes tradition with a live-special with stars all across entertainment, sport and music rallying together to raise money for life saving research.

Maya Jama (The Circle), Alan Carr (Chatty Man) and Adam Hills (The Last Leg) will be presenting this year’s live extravaganza, which will be filled to the brim with an array of humorous sketches and tear-jerking awareness shorts.

Scarlett Moffatt signs up for two new shows for Channel 4

Moffatt, who is currently appearing on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway on ITV, will join Alan Carr in a new Channel 4 entertainment show which will be recorded later this year.

She will also present a reboot of nineties classic Streetmate, in a role originally made famous by Davina McCall . Shy singletons will get a helping hand from Moffatt who will scour the streets to find people dates in towns and cities across the UK.

Jane Turton: We can do bigger, better, challenging things

There was a great deal of quiet satisfaction across the British production sector when Jane Turton was named Chief Executive of All3Media back in February. The steely, 53-year-old Scot had triumphed over external candidates following a five-month, global search by its new US owners, hard-driving Discovery Communications and Liberty Global, who paid around £550m for this important producer.
