Hunted

Celebrity Hunted returns to Channel 4 for fifth season

As usual, the participants will seek to evade capture by former police, army and intelligence personnel. They’ll have to be sharp to do so. Whilst the authorities have an arsenal of real life law enforcing technologies to pinpoint the fugitives, the celebrities will have nothing but the clothes on their backs and each other’s company.

Former contestants have been forced to go completely off-grid in a bid to avoid the ‘Hunters’: avoiding using bank cards, sleeping in tents in rural areas and not trusting anyone along the way for a full 25 days.

In the aim to fight cancer, the RTS award-winning Stand Up To Cancer resumes tradition with a live-special with stars all across entertainment, sport and music rallying together to raise money for life saving research.

Maya Jama (The Circle), Alan Carr (Chatty Man) and Adam Hills (The Last Leg) will be presenting this year’s live extravaganza, which will be filled to the brim with an array of humorous sketches and tear-jerking awareness shorts.

Hunted to return for second series

This September saw the launch of Channel 4's unsettling reality series Hunted, in which groups of "fugitives" attempted to go off the grid and escape capture by the expert "hunters" who used surveillance  technology to track them down. Audience ratings averaged 2.2million per episode, with no financial prize for any triumphant fugitives. This time, there's £100,000 up for grabs if they're able to avoid and outsmart the hunters for up to 28 days.
