Rhod Gilbert fronts personal documentary for Stand Up To Cancer

Presenter Davina McCall and comedians Rhod Gilbert, Adam Hills, Joe Lycett and Munya Chawawa will be taking the lead on the live 90-minute fundraising extravaganza.

Among the special guests are Strictly legend Oti Mabuse, The Good Wife star Cush Jumbo, and Ghosts’ Kiell Smith-Bynoe and Charlotte Ritchie.

Michael Sheen and Anna Lundberg to join Celebrity Gogglebox for Stand Up To Cancer

The episode will air as part of Channel 4 and Cancer Research UK’s Stand Up To Cancer programming.

Actor Michael Sheen and his partner Anna Lundberg are the first two famous faces confirmed to be taking to the sofa as they review the week’s big TV moments.

The programme will also visit the regular Gogglebox households including best friends Jenny and Lee, Blackpool siblings Pete and Sophie, South London partners Marcus and Mica and the Siddiqui family.

The celebrities fighting to evade the hunters are Olympic silver medallist Iwan Thomas, who is partnered with two-time Paralympic gold medallist Richard Whitehead, Made in Chelsea stars Ollie and Gareth Locke, actress Chizzy Akudolu, who is partnered with icon of UK garage Lisa Maffia, and Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne, who is partnered with international reality TV star Chloe Veitch. 

The celebrities need to remain undiscovered for two weeks, as a top team of hunters try to track them down. 

Tom Parker to make Stand Up To Cancer documentary for Channel 4

The 32-year-old boyband singer was diagnosed with a grade four glioblastoma last October, which doctors told him was “the worst case scenario.”

For this year’s Stand Up To Cancer, Tom, his wife Kelsey and their two children will document their efforts to remain positive and leave a legacy for Tom by staging a concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

Tom is planning a joyful event and will split proceeds between Stand Up To Cancer, the national fundraising campaign from Channel 4 and Cancer Research U, and The National Brain Appeal.

The celebrities will be taking part in the week-long challenge to raise funds for Stand Up To Cancer.

In a game where anyone can be anyone, the celebrities taking part are drag queen Baga Chipz, reality star Charlotte Crosby, actress Denise Van Outen, singer Duncan James, rapper Lady Leshurr and YouTuber Saffron Barker.

There will also be celebrities playing the game as a double act, including Loose Women presenters Kaye Adams and Nadia Sawalha, radio DJs Rickie Haywood-Williams and Melvin Odoom and reality stars Sam Thompson and Pete Wicks. 

Channel 4 announces the celebrity line-up for Stand Up and Deliver

The celebrities will be plunged into the cutthroat world of stand-up comedy and will be given a comedian mentor to help them find their funny bones and get people laughing.

Broadcaster and Reverend Richard Coles will be paired with David Baddiel, Happy Mondays frontman Shaun Ryder will be coached by Jason Manford, Conservative Party Co-Chairwoman Baroness Sayeeda Warsi will be helped by Nick helm.

Former Love Islander Curtis Pritchard will be guided by Judi Love and former Coronation Street actress Katie McGlynn will be partnered with Zoe Lyons.

Line of Duty stars and Craig David join Gogglebox for Stand Up to Cancer

The Line of Duty big guns Ted Hastings, Kate Fleming and Steve Arnott will pause hunting down bent coppers to become experienced channel hoppers, with co-stars Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure and Martin Compston joining the show.

Adrian Dunbar commented: “It’s an honour to be part of the esteemed Gogglebox line up especially when it’s raising money for the phenomenal work Stand Up To Cancer do.”

Who's taking part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins?

Embarking on one of the toughest physical challenges of their lives, the familiar faces will be sent to the West Coast of Scotland to face a punishing course in challenging terrain.

On the remote island of Raasay, the celebrity recruits will have to face the wild seas, harsh landscape and unforgiving weather, all while living in a derelict farmstead.

Chief instructor Ant Middleton will be leading the group, helped by his team of directing staff: Foxy, Billy, Ollie and newest member Jay.

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins starts at 9pm on Monday 20th April.
