Jamie Oliver cooks up new Mediterranean travelogue for Channel 4

Oliver will travel all over the Med, from bustling cities to beachy coasts, and learn simple yet fresh and flavourful recipes from the people he encounters.

Using their teachings as a starting point, he will create new recipes for his audience inspired by each cuisine; from Greece comes a Smokey aubergine flatbread, from France a courgette, goat’s cheese and tapenade tart, from Tunisia crispy prawn parcels with harissa, and from Spain pork chops with chargrilled peppers.

BBC Two commissions new cooking series from Dame Mary Berry

Mary Berry: Love To Cook is a six-part, half-hour series which sees Berry visit fellow foodies to hear their stories, aiming to ignite the same passion for producing and cooking food in viewers.

Berry will also share her favourite, flavourful dishes for beginners or experts, a small budget or a big crowd, using primarily UK produce.

BBC Books will publish the accompanying book to the series.

Jamie Oliver to present new cooking series Together

Jamie Oliver: Together sees the chef share menus for those first meals with our loved ones since lockdown began.

From starters to sharing platters and delicious mains to devilish desserts, each of the four hour-long episodes will walk you through all the recipes you need for a hearty, stressless meal.

Along with all the food, Oliver will also share his top tips for setting the scene and ambience, and run through a selection of cocktails.

The recipes are drawn from Oliver’s new book, Together, which will be published in September 2021.

Scarlett Moffatt to host new ITV2 dating show Love Bites

Love Bites will see three suitors battle it out in the kitchen for a date with a single foodie.

Using the same set of ingredients, the suitors will each cook a three-course meal for the foodie to judge, and Moffatt will be there to guide the singletons as they draw on all their culinary might in the pursuit of love.

Moffatt said: "I’ve always been obsessed with both dating and cookery shows so this rolled into one really is the dream gig for me.

ITV2 orders new cookery dating show Love Bites

Fusing food and dating in an all-new format, Love Bites pits three suitors against each other in order to win a date with a single foodie.

Using the same set of ingredients, the suitors will each cook a three-course meal side by side in the Love Bites kitchen in the hopes of appealing to the singleton’s palate.

The singleton will then have to choose the best chef for a date.

Jamie Oliver returns to Channel 4 with new family cooking series

Filmed in his garden at home, Jamie Oliver will be sharing his new culinary creations perfect for family meals.

As Oliver will be taking inspiration from your average weekly shopping trolley, the dishes will be simple, affordable, but above all, delicious.

The series will also be showcasing some of the new recipes in his upcoming book 7 Ways, the first cook book to be based on real consumer data as to what people buy on a weekly basis.

UKTV cooks up My Greatest Dishes and orders more Judge Romesh

Each episode will see a different chef recreating their most treasured recipes. The series will also feature pictures and stories from the chef’s personal archives to illustrate each dish’s life-changing impact.

Other chefs to be appear include Monica Galetti, Michel Roux Jr, Giorgio Locatelli, Rosemary Shrager, Michael Caines, Daniel Clifford and Ollie Dabbous.

“This series provides a real insight into the recipe for success behind some of our most-loved chefs,” said Good Food channel director, Vicky Walker.

ITV orders Gordon, Gino and Fred's Great Christmas Roast

This 75-minute Christmas special features two teams comprised of several famous faces, as they work against the clock to serve a spectacular festive banquet for some of the heroes of 2017.

Gordon, Gino and Fred go above and beyond as they serve members of the public and emergency services who risked their lives during some of 2017’s tragic events.

Ramsey said, “It’s going to be a lot of fun, but the real prize will be the privilege of cooking a fantastic feast and serving up three stunning courses to some truly deserving diners”.

Battle of the kitchens in The Big Family Cooking Showdown

The cooking series will be presented by Zoe Ball and Nadiya Hussain, as they visit kitchens around country to find the best classic family recipes.

The recipes will be judged by renowned cookery teacher Rosemary Shrager and Michelin-starred chef Giorgio Locatelli. The two judges will set challenges in both the studio kitchen and home kitchens, as they cut down the 16 teams of over eight heats, three semi-finals and one major grand final!
