Strictly Come Dancing

The cartoon dog will be dancing with the professionals as part of the charity fundraising extravaganza. His partners will include Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Neil Jones, Gorka Márquez, Johannes Radebe and Michelle Tsiakkas.

The dance – set to Wilson Pickett’s “Land of 1000 Dances” – will feature easy moves to encourage viewers at home of all ages to join in. This will include the mashed potato, the alligator and the floss. People will be able to share their moves on social media using the hashtags #DanceWithBlueyChallenge and #BBCChildrenInNeed.

A regular on Loose Women, Judi Love has been performing stand-up for a decade, and is known for her appearances on MasterChef and Strictly Come Dancing.

The new show from ITVX will see four showcase gigs streamed live from the festival, featuring material from some of the best comedians on the circuit. The shows are curated by NextUp, known to comedy fans as a leading specialist streamer for British stand-up.

The clip aired just before Strictly Come Dancing, and saw its RTS Award-winning host Claudia Winkleman donning the iconic cloak before shushing the camera. Words revealed that the series was "coming soon" to BBC One.

Several fans clocked another hint during the live Strictly broadcast. A cloaked figure was seen looming behind Winkleman as she spoke to the dancing couples awaiting their scores.

Claudia Winkleman will soon be back in the ballroom to present the live show alongside Tess Daly, while the notorious Craig Revel Horwood returns to the judging panel with Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas.

In the meantime, meet the celebrities who have their sights set on the Glitterball Trophy.

Ayling-Ellis won the dancing competition during her stint as Frankie Lewis in EastEnders, the first ever deaf character in the soap. She also helped launch a deaf Barbie doll late last year.

She is now getting back to work on the small screen. Code of Silence follows Alison (Ayling-Ellis), who is struggling to get by working in a police canteen and a local bar whilst caring for her mother, who is also hearing-impaired.

Each of the six dancing couples will be learning a Christmas inspired routine in the hopes of impressing the judges, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke, Head Judge Shirley Ballas, and the voting audience.

After Janusz's heartbreaking exit last week, Abdul, Syabira and Sandro take to the tent one last time for the grand final. All three have won Star Baker at least once, so it should prove a baking hot contest.

Anton du Beke and Giovanni Pernice are trading the dance floor for the radiant island of Sicily.

Pernice will guide du Beke around his home of Sicily and uncover all the delights the Mediterranean island has to offer.

The pair will explore the towering Mount Etna and authentic old towns, taste Sicilian cuisine and polish off their dancing shoes for a tango.

Packed with sun, sea and plenty of adventure, du Beke and Pernice promise to take viewers on an unforgettable Mediterranean journey.
