The unconventional five-part thriller comes from writers Penelope Skinner and Ginny Skinner, with Robbie McKillop and Nicole Charles directing. 

The series follows the complicated relationship between two very different women and the conman that binds them together in a dark, funny thriller filled with half-truths and staggering lies. 

Cheryl (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) is a famous fantasy fiction author, who now lives alone with her poodle Goblin after a recent bereavement.

When sunbathing on her hotel room balcony, Jo (Hawes) hears gunshots ring out across the complex. The gunmen, hellbent on revenge, instantly turn her dream holiday with family and friends into a waking nightmare.

As the hotel staff and clientele are forced to make rash life-or-death decisions, the consequences will last long after the final shots are fired.

The three-part thriller led by Iain De Caestecker (Roadkill) and Joanna Vanderham (Dancing On The Edge) is set in Glasgow and follows Gabe (Iain De Caestecker), an ordinary man who works for the Scottish Ambulance Service as an emergency call handler. 

Gabe’s life is completely turned upside down when he receives a call from a woman who seems to know him and is in a desperate life-and-death situation. 

Desperate to work out who she is, Gabe makes a drastic decision that has devastating consequences. 

Adapted for ITV by Simon Ashdown, the four-part drama will see Tuppence Middleton (Downtown Abbey) and Martin Compston (Line of Duty) star as estranged husband and wife Fiona and Bram Lawson.

Fiona is left dumbfounded when she comes home one day to find strangers moving in and all her belongings missing. She insists her home isn’t for sale but events begin to spiral beyond her control.

The six-part thriller sees Vicky McClure and Adrian Lester play bomb disposal operatives known as Expos, who put their lives on the line every day. 

Vicky McClure plays frontline officer Lana Washington and Adrian Lester plays her colleague Joel Nutkins. 

Washington and Nutkins are ex-military and close friends after both serving time together in Afghanistan. 

Starring Jason Watkins (The Crown), Victoria Hamilton (Life), George MacKay (1917) and Jerome Flynn (Game of Thrones), the thriller will explore how back in 2009 world-renowned Professor Philip Jones, Director of Climate Research at University of East Anglia, was at the centre of an international media storm and the victim of cyberterrorism.

Entitled A Sword in my Bones, it is based on an original story by Gaby Chiappe, creator of the first series.

Billy Howle is set to reprise his role as the talented but troubled Detective Nigel Strangeways, who investigated the hit and run of a six-year-old boy in the first series.

Howle said: “A lot of hard work by all the cast and crew went into making the first original drama for BritBox, during a pandemic, and it seems to have paid off.

The six-part series stars Suranne Jones (Gentleman Jack), Rose Leslie (Downtown Abbey), Shaun Evans (Endeavour), Martin Compston (Line of Duty) and Paterson Joseph (Peep Show).

Jones and Leslie star as DCI Amy Silva and DS Kirsten Longacre, who lead an investigation into the mysterious disappearance of a Scottish fishing trawler and a death on-board the HMS Vigil submarine.

Paul Andrew Williams and Caroline Bartleet have adapted the series from Robert Harris’ best-selling novel of the same name, and David Caffrey (Peaky Blinders) will direct.

Homeland writer and executive producer, Patrick Harbinson, has adapted The Tower from Post Mortem, the first novel of former Met Police Officer Kate London’s Metropolitan series. Jim Loach (Save Me Too) will direct.
