The Detectorist’s Toby Jones stars as the Erin Brockovich of the British Post Office Scandal, Mr Bates.
In series one, we joined The Man, who we now know is Elliot Stanley, just before he suffered complete memory loss after being driven off the road by a truck.
Together with probationary constable Helen Chambers, who first questioned Elliot about the crash, they set off on a search for his identity.
By the end, however, Elliot was wracked with guilt having made some damning revelations in regards to his life before the crash, which also turned Helen away.
Series one saw Elliot, played by Jamie Dornan (Belfast), wake up in an Australian hospital with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. With the help of Constable Helen and waitress Luci, played by Danielle MacDonald (Dumplin’) and Shalom Brune-Franklin (Great Expectations) respectively, Elliot is left reeling from the discoveries of his past, as the puzzle of his identity slowly comes together.
Series two will see Elliot and Helen travel to Dublin, Ireland to unearth Elliot’s roots and find out more about who he was before the accident.
Harry and Jack Williams have written the series and will also produce under their award-winning All3Media company, Two Brothers Pictures (Fleabag).
Daisy Haggard and Paterson Joseph will star as two hard-up strangers, Janet and Samuel, who stumble across a load of cocaine on a shipwreck.
They can't believe their luck, but after agreeing to sell it and split the money, they quickly find themselves entangled with police, masked hitmen and a suited-and-booted gangster known only as 'The Tailor' (Tcheky Karyo).
The six-part thriller sees Jamie Dornan (The Fall) as a British man who is ruthlessly pursued through the unforgiving Australian outback by a tank truck determined to drive him off the road.
This leads to a dangerous cat and mouse game, which sees The Man end up seriously wounded in hospital but miraculously alive.
He may be alive, but he can no longer remember who he is and dark figures from his past are still chasing him.
