Rob Beckett named as host of new celebrity couples show Unbreakable

The series will see Beckett combine sharp observations with non-stop laughter as he puts six celebrity couples to the test to reveal whose relationship is strongest through a series of mental, physical, and emotional challenges.

Loose Women star Denise Welch is ready to rise to the challenge alongside her acclaimed artist husband Lincoln Towney, whose sought-after contemporary works are the subject of sell-out exhibitions around the world.

Comedy is hard graft. But comedians Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan made light work of an RTS session that turned the spotlight on the pair’s hilarious Sky One factual entertainment series, Rob and Romesh Vs. The third season starts this month.

The show sees the likely lads gamely taking on unfamiliar worlds and situations. It could be basketball or, more unlikely still, ballet.

In the series the likely lads gamely take on unfamiliar worlds and situations. It could be basketball or more unlikely still, ballet.       

They even underwent the agonies of colonic irrigation for the benefit of the cameras – an experience Ranganathan told the RTS he still regrets – while in LA getting the lowdown on the NBA.     

Channel 4 announces the celebrity line-up for One Night In…Hamleys

The three comedians will be locked in the world-famous toy shop on London’s Regent Street overnight, with no security guards to hinder their fun. 

The trio will have all night to do what they imagined and dreamed of doing in a toy shop when they were kids, with the only rules being no sleeping, that’s cheating, leave everything where you found it, and if they break something, they have to pay for it. 

E4 promises funny and outrageous slate of shows

Announcing the new shows, E4 controller Karl Warner promised that E4 will be the “home of funny, diverse, outrageous, loveable talent.”

In addition to the new and returning shows outlined below, Warner also announced that US favourites Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Young Sheldon, will be returning to E4 for their seventh and third series respectively.
