The Taskmaster series 16 line up

For 16 series, Taskmaster Greg Davies has been setting five comedians absurd and surrealist tasks from the comfort of his big red throne, joined by his assistant ‘little’ Alex Horne.

Contestants must earn points by completing tasks such as “be photographed in the most unusual situation wearing this fez” or “conceal this pineapple”, and the one with the most points at the end of the series goes home with a trophy in the shape of Greg Davies’ head.

Channel 4 to raise hell again with second series of Hullraisers

The announcement comes after the first series of Lucy Beaumont’s chaotic comedy celebrating northern working class women was widely acclaimed.

Centred on the tight-knit trio of Toni (Leah Brotherhead), Paula (Sinead Matthews) and Rana (Taj Atwal), Hullraisers explored their hilarious and agonising lives as they juggled work, kids, friendships and families. Series two will see them step into bright new chapters while they fight to keep everything the same.

With a few surprise guests along the way, the gang will reflect on the highs and lows of 2021, with misbehaviour and chaos sure to ensue in a rollicking, boozy knees-up.
