Fearless stars Helen McCrory (Harry Potter, Peaky Blinders) as Emma Banville, a human rights lawyer known for defending lost causes and unsolvable cases.
The six-part series is created by Homeland and 24 writer Patrick Harbinson and is produced by Mammoth Screen.
Fearless is a contemporary thriller about Emma Blunt, a solicitor with a reputation for defending lost causes. Starring Peaky Blinders actor Helen McCrory in the lead role, the show is described as "in the crash zone where law and politics collide.”
"The so-called War on Terror has put serious stress on the ordinary workings of the law. National security justifies all sorts of police and state over-reach – and the great majority of us are prepared to accept this," said Harbinson, who was a soldier before turning his hand to writing TV dramas.
The surreal comic will present the one-off, hour-long show Only in Japan (w/t) which takes a closer look at the massive culture of wacky Japanese gameshows.
Japan is famed for its bizarre gameshow formats, and Fielding will be examining the strangest, weirdest and most wonderful shows he can find!
