A black-and-white Andrew Scott unsettles in full-length Ripley trailer
The limited series will adapt the 1955 novel The Talented Mr. Ripley by Patricia Highsmith, made famous by the 1999 film of the same name.
Last time round, it was Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting) who played Ripley. The conman scams and squirms his way into the affluent world of Dickie Greenleaf, played in 1999 by Jude Law (The Grand Budapest Hotel). Now, it’s Andrew Scott’s turn as the scheming charmer, with Johnny Flynn (One Life) in the role of Dickie.
