The trailer for Prime Video’s Wilderness shows Doctor Who’s Jenna Coleman as a woman out for revenge, and serves as the debut for Taylor Swift’s re-recorded Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version).

The female led and created series follows Liv (Coleman), whose world is turned upside down when she discovers her husband Will, played by Oliver Jackson-Cohen (Haunting of Hill House), has been having an affair. Liv’s heartbreak is swiftly followed by rage, and the trailer shows her smashing a wine glass at a romantic dinner before ripping framed photos off the walls of their home.

Pretty Little Liars’ Ashley Benson is teased as the other woman, as she is seen walking alone with Will in one clip, and the object of Liv’s troubled glare in another.

Following Liv’s discovery, the married couple embark on an all-American road trip from the Grand Canyon to Yosemite and through to Las Vegas. Will hopes it will repair the damage he's caused and save their marriage, but it appears like Liv has other ideas. The landscape is a place where accidents are common, and perhaps the perfect place for her to get revenge. The trailer closes with her considering pushing him off a cliff edge as happy memories of their marriage flash across the screen.

The soundtrack to Liv’s revenge is Taylor Swift’s newly rerecorded Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version), a teaser to her highly anticipated rerelease of her 2017 album Reputation, expected to be released in February 2024.

Wilderness will release globally on Prime Video on Friday 15 September 2023.
