New digital comedy series Celebrity Rebrand will see Channel 4 stars get an image overhaul by Amelia Dimoldenberg.
The satirical comedy series will see Channel 4 ask comedian, creator and star of Chicken Shop Date, Amelia Dimoldenberg, to help change the public perception of some of their biggest stars by giving them a total rebrand.
The six-part series will see the celebrity guests undertake a series of unexpected brand exercises to help them connect to a wider audience, but to the celebrities’ horror, they unfortunately backfire.
Dimoldenberg attempts to rebrand Jimmy Carr to make him less mean, teach Clare Balding to embrace her inner rebel, coach Romesh Ranganathan on how to dominate his socials, cleanse Jamie Laing of his playboy image, rebrand Anna Richardson as The Naked Lady and change Rosie Jones from stand-up to action hero.
However, despite the best intentions, some of Dimoldenberg's transformations become more of a PR nightmare than a successful rebrand.
'Celebrity brand visionary' Amelia Dimoldenberg commented: “I take my role as Celebrity Brand Visionary very seriously.
“I can’t wait to get my hands on some of Channel 4’s talent and really get to know them, so I can totally transform every single thing about their brand. Thank goodness for me!”
Celebrity Rebrand will be available across all Channel 4 social media platforms later this year.
