After finally managing to get convictions, the police realise that the criminals they’ve put behind bars only ever had half the stolen gold. Series two will ask the question on the lips of every cop (and audience member): who has the other half?

The answer will drag the police into a world of manhunts and money laundering. The organised criminals now in possession of the eponymous precious metal aren’t going to give it up without a fight.
