The show is set on the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, with filming due to take place in both.

Scholey plays Cathy, a woman who encounters Morgan’s character, Michael, 20 years after he killed her brother. Cathy becomes obsessed with the life Michael has managed to build for himself after an early release from prison, including a family and successful career. As her fixation grows, it becomes Cathy’s mission to tear that life down.

The drama will see prolific stage and screen writer Abi Morgan OBE (Suffragette) make her directorial debut, after writing all three series of the show.

Set within London’s fast paced and cutthroat high-end divorce industry, the series explores the highs and lows of marriage and the legacy and complications of divorce.

But the makers of Sky Atlantic’s Britannia starring David Morrissey, Mackenzie Crook and Zoe Wanamaker took a more imaginative and freewheeling approach to their costume creation.

The series is set approximately 2000 years ago when the Romans are attempting to stamp their bloody authority on a tribal land made up of Celts and Druids.
