Broadcasting in Wales: Lockdown and Beyond
What will the Welsh television landscape look like post-lockdown, and what innovations will the broadcasters need to make to ensure the continuation of high quality programming and services for audiences in Wales?
These and other important questions affecting the sector will be explored in a live webinar “Broadcasting in Wales: Lockdown and Beyond”, organised by RTS Cymru Wales on Monday, 15 June (3pm).
The webinar will feature a panel made up of the heads of the three broadcasting organisations in Wales:
RTS Cymru Awards 2020
The event will be hosted by popular television presenters, Sean Fletcher and Ruth Wignall.
RTS Cymru Wales is also delighted to announce that Whisper Cymru, the sports and live event production specialist, will be the Title Partner of this year’s awards.
In addition to the long-standing students’ honours, the annual awards have this year been extended five new Industry categories.

Russell has penned ground-breaking shows such as Queer As Folk and The Second Coming, while his recent adaptation of A Very English Scandal for the BBC has won numerous awards.
This year, his latest drama, Years And Years, received outstanding critical acclaim.

Having commissioned Doctor Who to be made out of Cardiff, she continued to invest in network drama made here, with series such as Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures.
After she left the BBC she co-founded BAD WOLF, a global drama production company based in Cardiff that grew out of a long term collaboration with the creative community of Wales.
