An Evening with Evan Shapiro

Many will know Evan Shapiro as the official, unofficial cartographer of the Media Universe since Deadline published his first Media Universe Map.

It has since been adopted by businesses, executives, analysts, and colleges as the unofficial official representation of the map of media. Using his specific point of view, Evan charts the media’s future through his essays in the Media War & Peace Newsletter and with his change agency, ESHAP.

The Winter King: Panel Event

As well as the first episode and a series preview, there'll be a panel with the series' cast and crew – focussing not just on the Welsh talent on both sides of the lens, but discussing how newcomers to the industry were able to get involved.

The Winter King stars Iain De Caestecker as Arthur, in this latest telling of the Arthurian legend based on Bernard Cornwell’s The Warlord Chronicles novels. Filmed in Wales and the West Country by Bad Wolf, it is set to hit ITV’s streaming services later this year.

Mind the Skills Gap

This session with an expert panel explores

  • What the roles and skills are for which there needs to be training?
  • How are we going to meet that need at the required pace?
  • How can education and training providers ensure they have effective and relevant training?
  • What are the opportunities for people entering the industry and how do they know which courses and paths to pursue?

Confirmed Panellists:

From Nigel Farage to Jamie Lynn Spears: Who’s in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here 2023?

The series will show the stars put their lives as food critics, YouTubers, presenters, and actors on pause to live in the Australian Hinterlands, alongside their hosts Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

Following the format the show has kept since its debut in 2002, the celebrities will camp outside in hammocks (if they’re lucky) and on the ground (if they are not), participating in regular ‘Bushtucker challenges’ at Ant and Dec’s behest.
