RTS Cymru Wales is delighted to announce a screening of the new ITV X drama, The Winter King, taking place at USW’s Atrium building in Cardiff on 7 December.
As well as the first episode and a series preview, there'll be a panel with the series' cast and crew – focussing not just on the Welsh talent on both sides of the lens, but discussing how newcomers to the industry were able to get involved.
The Winter King stars Iain De Caestecker as Arthur, in this latest telling of the Arthurian legend based on Bernard Cornwell’s The Warlord Chronicles novels. Filmed in Wales and the West Country by Bad Wolf, it is set to hit ITV’s streaming services later this year.
Tickets are free. Arrival is 6pm for a 6.30pm screening in the Atrium’s theatre, followed by a panel, and with refreshments and socialising in the main foyer.
Panellists:
- Lachlan MacKinnon, Executive Producer
- Catrin Lewis Defis, Producer
- Daniel Martin, Supervising Art Director
- Sarah Arthur, Costume Designer
- Emily John, playing 'Ceinwyn'
