Kyla Harris stars as a tetraplegic artist, Freya, who has just packed up her bags and moved to London for her new by-the-book boyfriend. Being disabled, she decides that instead of having a stranger as her live in Personal Assistant (PA), she’d rather opt for her best friend Jo (Elena Saurel, Industry).

As the title suggests, this may be something they come to regret. Freya’s boyfriend Abe (Darren Boyd, Misfits) finds the situation a little difficult to handle. The comedy is co-created by its star Kyla Harris, and screenwriter Lee Getty. The two have been friends for 20 years, and the comedy is based off their longstanding relationship of caregiver, and someone in need of care.

Secret Lives of Orangutans

There’s no better family event than a catch up with our hairy orange cousins, the orangutans. The series is narrated by international icon Sir David Attenborough and focuses on one multi-generational family of orangutans living in the jungles of Sumatra, Indonesia. The doc will focus on several characters, but namely Eden, an 8-year-old ape ready to embark on the most challenging era of her life; and Rakus, who made headlines in recent years after being filmed treating a facial wound with a plant known to have healing properties.

Every dating show has an angle: Love is Blind tries to find love, blind; Married at First Sight sees if they can fast track the dating process; Celebs Go Dating sees whether courting normies might help the famous have lasting relationships.

Dating Naked UK is a whole different ballgame (pardon my pun). 10 single people see if they can fall in love with their beauty standard bodies completely on show.

They will live together on a tropical island, completing challenges and welcoming new singles as they step into the villa. And presumably also getting the tan of their lives.

Pachinko: Series 2

Pachinko by Min Jin Lee is widely considered to be a modern classic, and Apple TV+’s adaption fits the novel’s big shoes.

The story spans the 20th century and Korea, Japan and America, following a South Korean woman called Sunja from birth into her sunset years. Layers of history unravel as a teenage Sunja (Kim Min-ha, Off the Grid) is forced to move to Japan, with a husband, Baek Isak (Noh Sang-hyun, Money) and a baby that is not his. In the 80s, Sunja reflects on the impact of this move.

For series two, the story continues in 1945 and 1989, focusing on Sunja’s sons Mozasu (Soji Arai) and Noa (Park Jae-jun) and the outbreak of the Second World War.

The Misinvestigations Of Romesh Ranganathan

Ranganathan goes Marple in a new series of investigations into the deaths of cultural icons. For those who missed the memo, Romesh Ranganathan is a stand-up comedian and TV presenter not usually known for his detective skills. He will be teaming up with criminal psychologist Dr Julia Shaw to solve once and for all the deaths of Tupac Shakur, Jimi Hendrix, and Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen.

As part of his investigation, Ranganathan will speak to witnesses, friends, families and experts to try and get to the bottom of these closed case deaths.
