McFly members, TikTok stars and Wagatha Christies: Meet the stars of I’m a Celeb 2024

The I’m a Celebrity cast stand in a jungle wearing matching outfits, consisting of red trousers and shorts, and beige shirts with navy tank tops underneath. A few wear cowboy hats. They are all of varying heights, ages and genders.

Hosts Ant and Dec will welcome celebs from all walks of life: Corrie stars, TikTokers and DJs. Once in the jungle they will be stripped of all the pleasures of normal life – caffeine, make-up and gourmet dinners – and be introduced to three weeks of rice, beans and maybe squirrel (if they’re lucky).

Channel 4 to dramatise #WagathaChristie case for new courtroom docudrama

Across two parts, the drama will use the real court transcripts to recreate the defamation case that gripped the nation in 2022.

Dubbed #WagathaChristie when it first unfolded on social media in 2019, the case was not allowed to be televised when it reached the high court this year, so Channel 4 will bring to viewers the many memorable moments for the first time.

Actors will play the parts of the protagonists, including Rebekah Vardy, Coleen Rooney, Wayne Rooney and Jamie Vardy. As well as scenes from the courtroom, there will be analysis from the media and social media.
