The hit format sees the wholesome role-reversal of a group of twenty-something children overseeing their single parents as they take their first tentative steps back into the world of dating.

With such cross-generational appeal and reality TV icon Davina McCall as host, the debut series received an average of 2 million viewers across all devices.

And as always, the contestants will have to leave the modern world and all its comforts behind. There will be no air travel, no phones, no internet and no credit cards; just the cash equivalent of the same journey by plane.

The celebrities will be leaving their showbiz lives behind and taking part in a series of gruelling tasks in the oppressive Jordanian desert heat. 

The fourth series will be the longest series to date with seven episodes and will start with 14 celebrities taking part. Everyone will be pushed to their physical and mental limits and discover sides of themselves they didn’t know existed. 

The selection course will be run by an elite team of ex-special forces operators form the UK and USA.

Channel 4 announces new cast members for Made In Chelsea: Mallorca

The Chelsea gang are trading SW3 for the sunny landscapes of Mallorca, so get ready for a summer of love, laughter and plenty of drama.

Existing relationships will be tested, new connections will be formed, and old wounds will be re-opened. 

The cast taking part are Olivia Bentley, Miles Nazaire, Emily Blackwell, Maeva D’Ascanio, James Taylor, Ollie Locke-Locke, Gareth Locke-Locke, Julius Cowdrey, Digby Edgley, Tristan Phipps, Ruby Adler, Reza Amiri-Garroussi and Sam Prince.

ITV2 to relaunch Big Brother in 2023

ITV2 made the announcement during the final of Love Island 2022, dropping a surprise teaser in the final ad break. The iconic Big Brother eye was seen pasted over an ITV2 ident as the theme tune played.

The format will remain largely the same, with a new cast of housemates from all walks of life moving into the Big Brother house for up to six weeks as cameras capture their every move.

E4 orders Blue Therapy series for more dramatic couples therapy

Blue Therapy 2 will follow more young and larger than life couples on their quests to overcome the turbulence in their relationships and ‘situationships’ through therapy.

The original creator of the YouTube series, Andy Amadi from Trend Centrl and Motion Content Group, will co-produce the E4 series.

No topic will be off limits as the couples work on their relatable but divisive relationship issues, from income inequality to sexual satisfaction and what to do when your partner’s family disapproves.

Chunkz to host new cooking show Bad Chefs

Ten terrible chefs who are addicted to takeaways will say no to the delivery apps and learn how to cook for the very first time. 

The rookie chefs will all live together and cook together in an attempt to turn chaos to calm in the kitchen.

Chunkz will oversee the cooking competition as the chefs face daily challenges and learn new skills. They will need to show their culinary prowess improving each week to avoid eviction and stay in the competition. 

Channel 4 announces new reality show with Jason Fox

Jason Fox will take part in a new challenge in an ambitious new three-part series commissioned by Channel 4 in association with Land Rover.

In each episode, Fox will be joined by a celebrity guest and take part in a series of high-octane challenges that have been uniquely designed for each celebrity, testing their physical and mental strength. 

Filmed in Wales, Fox will use the unique skills he has acquired from years of serving in the British special forces to push the celebrities to their limits.
