Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig will return to present the nation’s beloved cooking show alongside returning judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.

This August, a fresh batch of contestants will enter the iconic tents hoping to earn the cherished ‘Hollywood handshake’, the title of Star Baker and grab their hands on the Bake Off trophy.

Channel 4 previously released the trailer for the new series, which showed a growing ‘Bake Off Fever’ that swept across the nation.

The line-up of amateur bakers is yet to be announced.

The UK’s favourite food show will soon return to our screens and Channel 4 has released the trailer for the upcoming series. 

The upbeat trailer – set to the Beatles track, All Together Now – shows the nation overcome with 'Bake Off Fever', coming together to bake everything from cookies, to cakes, to choux pastry.

A new batch of fresh-faced amateur bakers will enter the tent, hoping to raise the coveted trophy and show off their love for baking.

Jo Brand returns to GBBO: An Extra Slice

GBBO: An Extra Slice will follow the contestants behind the scenes, with exclusive footage and moments not seen in the show.

GBBO bakers who leave the show will join Brand to relive some of their best and worst moments.

She will also be joined by celebrity fans of the show who will offer their opinion on each week’s tasks (as well as getting to try some ambitious bakes).

Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding to host Channel 4's Great British Bake Off

Comedians Sandi Toksvig (QI) and Noel Fielding (The Mighty Boosh) will host Britain’s biggest baking competition, while restaurateur and food writer Prue Leith joins Paul Hollywood as a judge.
 
The news comes after it was announced last autumn that the blockbuster baking show would be moving from BBC One to Channel 4.
 

The Great British Bake Off returns for another series

Brace yourselves: the much-loved baking show is set to burst onto our screens for a sixth series.

Twelve of the country’s best amateur bakers are getting set for a battle of the bakes hosted by loveable duo Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins.

Over ten weeks, the wannabe bakers will face the test by Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood.

Producers have already teased us with a clip paying homage to Sound of Music with Mary Berry channeling her inner Julie Andrews on a field.
