Channel 4 commissions new property competition Flipping Fast

The series will offer six aspiring property entrepreneurs the chance to start their own business.

Each of the developers will be given a £100,000 investment to kick-start their business, before competing against one another to see who can make the most profit from their property in a calendar year.

A property expert will advise all the contestants, but they will only learn of their competitors’ progress when each property listing goes live.

After 20 years of success, Stephen’s reaping the rewards of his business acumen. In his eyes, “no one who knows anything about black women and their commitment to looking good would think there’s anything high risk about my ambitions.”

BBC announces largest investment in Children's programming in a generation

The move, said BBC Director-General Tony Hall, reaffirmed the Corporation’s “commitment to our youngest audiences,” putting “children’s [programming] front and centre throughout the charter renewal process.”

The expanded budget will fund an enhanced online offering for children, as well as maintaining current children’s programming on the BBC’s children’s television channels, CBeebies and CBBC.
