Google for Media

Google enables the dissemination of content through a wide range of services, from Cloud processing and storage to the Virtual Assistant, and of course the popular online video-sharing service that is YouTube. It’s also leading innovations in Virtual and Augmented Reality.
Google has kindly invited the RTS London Centre to its offices in Belgravia to hear about its latest developments in these areas and more. This is a fantastic opportunity to see what Google does in our industry and city. There will be refreshments and networking time before and after the main panel.

Online TV - not just Netflix

With multi-million pound commissions the world of online TV may seem to be all about the big corporations but there are niches and more for smaller agile players. The challenge is how to build the right audience and the revenue streams to make them economically viable. Special interest channels, from horses to sailing, are starting to use online distribution to reach their audiences. While improvements in streaming technology are making business plan viable and the process easier, the potential audience still needs to know that you’re out there.
