Join Graeme as he is interviewed by Justin Johnson of the BFI, talking through his career from child actor to director of the break-out series Inside No 9.

Having worked with Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, Peter Davison and David Tennant  he has plenty of anecdotes, but aspiring directors will find his advice straightforward and encouraging.

Since leaving the BBC Bernie has become has been an established TV Lighting Designer for over twenty-five years working on many of the highest-profile programmes ranging from events in cathedrals and palaces, to concerts and light entertainment shows, plays, opera  and ballets from The National Theatre and Covent Garden.
