The BBC Comedy Festival took place in Glasgow on Wednesday 22 – Thursday 23 May 2024.
RTS Scotland were in attendance on Thursday 23 May 2024. As well as panels and masterclasses with iconic comedy stars and industry professionals, there were stand-up acts and short film screenings for new talent and a range of new opportunities for comedy producers were announced.

Join Heather Morris, author of the global best-selling novel ‘The Tattooist of Auschwitz’, and Claire Mundell, BAFTA-winning Executive Producer and Founder of Glasgow-based Synchronicity Films, to hear how the book was adapted into a break-out, critically acclaimed international TV series. Written by Jacquelin Perske, EP’d by Claire Mundell and Jacquelin Perske and directed by Tali Shalom Ezer.
