The finest of student TV production in Scotland was honoured at an awards ceremony in Glasgow on Wednesday 20 March, as the Royal Television Society’s Scotland Centre announced the winners of its Student Awards for 2024.

Stephen O’Donnell, Chair of RTS Scotland, said: “Once again, Scotland’s students have set a very high bar, with a fantastic range of high quality, entertaining, thought-provoking and exceptional entries. I’d like to offer congratulations to all those nominated and to our deserving winners. The future of our industry appears to be in very good hands!”

Host Laura Boyd said: “This is my fourth year hosting the RTS Scotland Student Awards and I can genuinely say it is one of my favourite events of the year. It’s a joy to host and I’m thrilled to be part of the students’ much-deserved celebrations.”

All the nominated films and highlights from this year’s ceremony will be available for viewers across the UK to watch on STV Player soon.
