Islanders and Gladiators return to our screens for two very different competition shows, and innies and outies return to work in Severance.
Love Island: All Stars
Monday
ITV2, 9.00pm
Curtis Pritchard, Gabby Allen, Luca Bish and more are ready to catch some winter sun in Love Island: All Stars.
From contestants who have made the Love Island history books (rather, meme pages), to more recent editions such as Catherine Agbaje and Ronnie Vint, everyone’s looking for a second chance - both at love, and at public perception.
Severance
Friday
Apple TV+
Adam Scott leads the cast of Ben Stiller’s sci-fi hit as Mark.
Mark is one of many people who have undergone a “severance” procedure, dividing himself into two halves. His work-life balance is now non-existent, with his “innie” half having no memory of his life outside the office, and his “outie” having the reverse. When trying to find out what his job actually is, Mark discovers messing with the severance barrier is a dangerous game. A game that many don’t want him to play.
Molly-Mae: Behind It All
Friday
Prime Video
One islander who won’t be returning to the Villa is series five’s Molly-Mae. Between her one-year-old Bambi, public breakup with fiancé Tommy Fury, and new fashion label Maebe, she’s got her work cut out balancing it all.
Molly and Tommy met in the Love Island villa in 2019 and were one of the reality show’s biggest success stories following the birth of their daughter and engagement, until their shock breakup in 2024 made headlines. This new documentary follows Molly as she deals with the public aspect of the breakup, whilst preparing for the launch of her very first clothing brand.
Gladiators
Saturday
BBC One, 5.50pm
Not to be confused with the 2024 film starring Paul Mescal, Gladiators harks back to the 80s rather than the 180ADs.
Bradley and Barney Walsh are back for the second series of the reboot, welcoming normal people to fight it out against their superhuman-esque Gladiators. This series brings two new Gladiators into the fold, who’ve named themselves Hammer and Cyclone. Intimidating.
Out There
Sunday
ITV1, 9pm
All looks idyllic for Nathan (Martin Clunes, Doc Martin) and Johnny (Louis Ashbourne Serkis, No Return) - a father and son living in on a farm rural England - but all is not as green as it seems.
Not only is there a thick cloud of grief hovering over the two of them, since the death of their wife and mother Sabine, Johnny has got himself involved in County Lines crime. Nathan steps up to deal with the consequences, but the drug smuggling has already become the least of their worries.
