ITV has revealed the 12 returning islanders catching some winter sun in Love Island: All Stars.
The theory goes that ex-Islanders are the only ones who have gone through this unique experience – months with no distractions but each other, failed public love affairs, and being catapulted into the public eye – so they must be well suited. With last series’ winners Molly Smith and Tom Clare having just bought their first home together, it now has a proven track record.
The first series of All Stars had twists and turns from the start, bringing in Molly and her ex, Callum Jones, only six months after they broke up, as well as twins Jess and Eve Gale. It’s likely the OG islanders will be thrown similar curveballs, with the likes of Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Gemma Owen being rumoured to enter as Bombshells.
Catherine Agbaje, 24
Series 10
Catherine was one half of a fan favourite couple with Scott van-der-Sluis, before bringing a boy back from Casa Amor and being promptly voted off. This time, she says she’ll be relying on her own gut instincts, and not the feelings of her friends.
Gabby Allen, 32
Series 3
Gabby finished in fourth place in her series, alongside Marcel Somerville – although they split up less than a year after returning to England. In the eight years since she left the villa, Gabby thinks she’s done a lot of growing and is looking for someone to match her emotional maturity.
Luca Bish, 25
Series 8
Fishmonger Luca Bish was buzzing when he wound up with Gemma Owen in his series, thinking she was a proper catch. But they broke up soon after the series end, so he’s back on the market. Luca feels he’s matured a lot since his first go at it and is looking for someone who will accept him for who he is.
Kaz Crossley, 29
Series 4
Casa Amor girl Kaz is ready to be an OG and have “her own love story.” Kaz is looking to find the one, and for her that means they should be ready to “reciprocate the same love that she’s ready to give.”
Olivia Hawkins, 29
Series 9
Olivia was a little bit of a ‘marmite character’ (her words, not mine). She brought the drama with fellow islander Zara Deniz, with a few arguments over All Stars winner Tom Clare. She isn’t going to lose that fire this time around, but she’s accepted that “maybe sometimes I do need to keep my opinions to myself…”
Nas Majeed, 28
Series 6
Nas had a very successful run in his Love Island series, leaving early but sparking a four-year relationship with Casa Amor's Eva Zapico. Now single again, he's ready to give love another shot and hoping Love Island can work its magic a second time!
Elma Pazar, 32
Series 5
Elma only got to stay in the villa for 6 days in her original run, after entering alongside Maura Higgins. Since then, she’s gained UK-wide notoriety for her time on TOWIE.
Curtis Pritchard, 28
Series 5
Curtis is remembered for many things: his infamous ‘heart rate challenge’ dance, his barista skills, and for coming out with the iconic line “I was coming back here to tell you that I loved you!”
This time around there’ll be no “half-girlfriends” for Curtis: “I probably will end up jumping into things faster. I know what I want, and I feel more comfortable in my life”
India Reynolds, 34
Series 5
India came in on day 44 of series 5, and managed to bag herself third place with Ovie Soko, coming in just behind Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury. She didn’t get the full Love Island experience her first time around. Now she’s an OG she’s expecting love triangles, man-stealing and lasting friendships.
Marcel Somerville, 39
Series 3
Yes, you read that right, Gabby’s ex is coming into the villa. Nicknamed Dr Marcel in his series because he kept doling out the love advice, it’s finally time for the Doctor to settle down and find someone for himself.
Ronnie Vint, 28
Series 11
Despite only having been out of the villa for about six months, Ronnie feels like he’s grown up a lot. The new, (self-described) more mature Ronnie is hoping to be in less love triangles. Which shouldn’t be hard.
Scott Thomas, 36
Series Two
You might know Scott Thomas from his EastEnders actor brother, Ryan, or you might know him from his explosive arguments with Kady McDermott. Scott’s hoping to find someone that “isn’t affected by the whole […] social media industry.” Well he’s come to the perfect place…
Love Island: All Stars series two begins Monday 13 January at 9.00pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
