Flipping between 1973 and the early 2000s, the factual drama tells the real story of Wales’ first documented serial killer, the ‘Saturday Night Strangler’, and the shadow it cast over a tight-knit Welsh town. Using 30 year old DNA evidence, will they be able to finally find justice for the families of the three young women?

Waterloo Road returns for more drama set in the eponymous school, promising love, friendship, and the cost of living crisis. 

Returning with it is former deputy head and fan favourite Andrew Treneman (Jamie Glover), who departed to teach in Rwanda at the end of series four. Alongside his reintroduction, the series will see a looming school inspection, new couplings, and a new student in Myles (Osian Morgan), who is struggling to reintegrate into traditional education after being let go by a prestigious football academy.
