The RTS has announced the winners for the RTS Television Journalism Awards 2016.
The awards for news and current affairs seek to recognise creative and excellent journalism by organisations whose broadcasts are transmitted on a UK-based platform and, for the first time, those who create online video content from a UK production base.
The awards cover all forms of production in Scotland, recognising excellence and innovation across a range of genres and crafts.

The Royal Television Society Scotland held its annual Student Television Awards at BBC Scotland in Pacific Quay, Glasgow on Thursday 5 February.
The RTS Scotland Student Television Awards celebrate the best undergraduate television students across Scotland with awards in four categories; Animation, Drama, Comedy & Entertainment and Factual. This year the judges also recognised excellence in craft with three new awards in camera, sound and editing.

The Craft and Design Awards 2015 were presented by Susan Calman at the Hilton Park Lane, London on November 30.
Michael Colyer has been announced as the winner of the annual RTS Young Technologist Award 2015.
The RTS Young Technologist Award recognises the potential future leaders in broadcasting and related technologies.
Colyer, who is currently Cameras Engineer at Formula One Management Ltd, graduated from Ravensbourne with a BSc in Outside Broadcast Technology. During university, he held several roles including an engineer for OBS during the 2012 London Olympic Games and engineering OBs for clients including The Scottish BAFTAs and Channel 4’s Played in Chelsea.
