RTS Programme Awards 2012

The Royal Television Society (RTS), Britain’s leading forum for television and related media, today announced the winners for the RTS Programme Awards 2012. The ceremony, held at Grosvenor House on Tuesday 20 March, was hosted by actor, comedian and radio presenter Rob Brydon.

STUDENT TELEVISION AWARDS 2010

The winners of the 16th RTS Student Television Awards 2010 have been announced. The ceremony was held on Friday 20th May at the National Media Museum in Bradford. The event, sponsored by Welcome to Yorkshire, was chaired by Director of BBC North, Peter Salmon and hosted by comedian Seann Walsh. It was attended by key television professionals, students and tutors.

RTS North West Awards 2010

RTS North West held their annual awards ceremony on November 22 in a glittering ceremony at the Hilton hotel in Manchester. Hosted by one of the brightest stars on the British comedy circuit, Justin Moorhouse, the eagerly anticipated event attracted some of the country’s biggest names. As the great and the good of the TV world gathered for what is widely considered as the high point of the industry’s regional calendar, it was Coronation Street that emerged as the night’s big winner.
