E4 has acquired HBO Max's festive dating series, 12 Dates of Christmas.
Set in a wintery wonderland, the series will follow three singletons, Faith, Chad and Garrett, across eight episodes as they search for a special someone to bring home for Christmas.
10 dates await the trio in an Austrian castle, from ugly sweater parties to Christmas karaoke sessions. But just as they start to make connections, new love interests will arrive to complicate their pursuits.
After the dates, they will bring their special one home for the holidays and have to decide whether to commit by midnight on New Year’s Eve.
Natasha Rothwell (The White Lotus) will narrate the journey and add her own hilarious take on the action.
Meet the singletons:
Christian ‘Faith’ Fernandez, 25, is a wardrobe stylist and dancer from Los Angeles who has cheerled in two Super Bowls.
She said: “I initially agreed to take part in this series, because it sounded like fun! Who wouldn’t love to travel abroad and go on dates? I went into the experience with a completely open mind and open heart, but it truly was magical.
Chad Savage is a boy from the countryside now based in New York and works for his family business Savage Promotions, Inc.
He said: “I’m a huge believer in putting myself out there and trying new things. Not only was 12 Dates a magnificent production spectacle, but it pushed me to grow as a person. This experience showed me that it’s okay to show vulnerability. Not to mention, introducing me to some pretty incredible people along the way.”
Garrett Marcantel is an eco-conscious real estate agent and developer who splits his time between New York and Los Angeles. He is also an advocate for climate change education.
He said: “Christmas is always that time of year when I feel more single than ever. I eagerly jumped into 12 Dates of Christmas with an open heart and an open mind ready to meet my man. I never would have expected what happened to me next in the Castle, but one thing was certain, I was determined to not spend my Christmas alone.”
12 Dates of Christmas will air on E4 and All 4 in December.
