UKTV is set to increase Dave’s digital content offering with five short form shows including a YouTube spin-off of Big Zuu’s Big Eats.

The five short form shows will offer audiences unique and easily shareable comedy content and introduce upcoming talent.

The two shorts for Dave’s YouTube channel include Big Zuu’s Wrap Clash, a new fun brand new food competition that will pit Big Zuu against social media stars to create the best wrap.

Who Cares? is hosted and produced by the creator of Chicken Shop Date, Amelia Dimoldenberg, and will see Dimoldenberg use her unique interviewing style to ask the public questions on burning issues ranging from the political to the social.

For Dave’s Facebook channel, the shorts commissioned are The Comedy Guide to Life, which sees stand-up comics give their witty views and observations on modern life, BackChat, a comedy talk radio show created by Ciaran Bartlett and Luke Mason, and Bad Advice with Olga Koch, a comedy chat show featuring top comedic talent.

UKTV’s head of social and online, Erina Jones said: “Creating unique short-form series for Dave’s social platforms will increase our offering of entertaining, funny and relatable content in the online world.

“It’s an incredible opportunity to test out new formats, work with a new generation of talent and extend the enjoyment of our popular Dave Originals for existing fans, and hopefully entice a wave of new fans too.

“Dave’s mission is to be as funny on social media as it is on air and we want people to enjoy spending time with us wherever they are. Our followers can now look forward to these new and exclusive shows on a weekly basis over the coming months."
