Channel 4 has announced a new series of Celebs Go Dating set in a luxurious country mansion.

Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion will see a new crop of single celebrities looking to find ‘the one’ while all living under the same roof.

With dates, drinks and drama, the series will see the celebrities go on a series of dates with potential matches. Unlike previous series however, there will be nowhere to hide if a date doesn’t go to plan. Instead of the ease of ghosting, face to face communication will be essential, no matter how awkward it gets.

The celebrities taking part in the new series include Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry, dancing pro and former Love Island star Curtis Pritchard, actor and Strictly Come Dancing runner up Karim Zeroul, former Coronation Street actor Kimberly Hart-Simpson, Ibiza club legend Wayne Lineker, DJ Tom Zanetti and Made In Chelsea’s Sophie Hermann.

The celebrities will be guided by dating experts Paul C Brunson and Anna Williamson, and will be encouraged to confide in the Junior Client Coordinator, Tom Read Wilson.

Curtis Pritchard commented: “I’m so excited to join the Celebs Go Dating agency. I have not been on many dates in my life, so I’m super exited to explore the dating scene, hopefully I’ll find my version of the perfect woman”

Made In Chelsea’s Sophie Hermann added: “2020 has definitely been a bleak year for dating, how many socially distanced park walks can one go on?! I’ve joined the agency to hopefully find love and not have to spend another lockdown alone. I think the agency will have their work cut out for them, mainly due to my lack of filter and pickiness, but I am putting all of my trust into their hands.”

Channel 4’s commissioning editor, Vivienne Molokwu, said: “Dating has been pretty dire in 2020 and the love lives of lots of us have been on ice, so for 2021 we want to help heat things up for our single celebs by supercharging their search for the one.

“With our celebs surrounded by potential matches 24/7 who knows whether we’ll get love, lust or a good dose of both - one things for sure - it’ll be unmissable.”

Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion will air on E4 in early 2021.
