BBC Academy

The BBC Academy is committed to promoting equality and diversity on their schemes and in developing a positive culture where everyone can develop to their full potential across the BBC. Successful applicants will be given a contract with the BBC and during this time they’ll train and develop you for a career in the media. By the end of the scheme you will have a range of skills and a sound understanding of the beginning-to-end process of programme-making.

​BECTU

BECTU is all about building a better workplace for workers in media and entertainment. They provide support for staff and freelancers working across the TV sector, whether you’re making programmes or helping to deliver them to audiences. Work in TV offers a host of creative opportunities but the challenges can be great. Channel 4

4Talent supports young people to build great futures in the media industry. They have a range of opportunities to suit all interests, from roles in television production such as development, research and co-ordination to roles at a broadcaster like press, marketing, sales, commissioning, HR and cyber security. 

Clearhead Digital

Clearhead are moving image experts, working with brands and universities to create brave and strategic creative content. Understanding the context of change and communicating with the right people, their in-house production team and account managers work alongside clients to produce insight-led film and digital animation content.

Creative Access

Creative Access is a not-for-profit social enterprise, which helps young people from black, Asian & other non-white minority ethnic backgrounds find paid training opportunities in more than 300 different creative organisations and supports them into full time employment.

Creative Skillset

Creative Skillset works with the UK’s screen-based creative industries to develop skills and to improve access to talent. They do this through supporting training and skills and their social network, Hiive.co.uk, a digital community of creatives across the UK.

DiVA Apprenticeships

DiVA is a recruitment and training organisation specialising in creative and digital apprenticeships in the creative sector. DiVAs client list include well-known brands such as Universal Music, All3 Media, Shed Media, Warner Music, the Southbank centre and a host of other creative companies. Over 87% of DiVA Apprentices are offered a permanent job following their apprenticeship.

Edinburgh International Television Festival

As well as being one of Britain’s premier TV events, The Edinburgh International Television Festival is also committed to identifying and nurturing the next generation of talent, whatever their background. Mama Youth

MAMA Youth Project aims to equip young people from 18-25 years of age with the skills and experience to secure long-term, fulfilling employment in the TV and media industry. Media Trust
