Shepperton Studios

The new facilities comprise nine sound stages, workshops and office accommodation, which total approximately 450,000 square feet.

The facilities form part of the wider redevelopment and expansion of Shepperton Studios, which will provide approximately 1.2 million square feet of new studio space. Once construction is completed in 2023, the Studios will comprise 31 stages, making it the second-biggest studio in the world.

The deal is part of Amazon Studios’ plans to expand its production footprint in the UK.

The hub will contain 14 sound studios, workshops and office spaces, and is part of Netflix’s long-term commitment to the UK.

Netflix will produce new and existing TV and feature films at the Pinewood owned studios, as they expand their UK network.

In the last year over 25,000 cast, crew and extras have worked on nearly 20 Netflix originals and co-productions across Britain.
