The series reveals the stories of Britain’s most notorious female psychopath serial killers, as well as the case of the Suffolk Strangler.

Using police footage and expert evidence, the murder crime series offers an insight into how these infamous crimes were solved by the lead detectives.

Fantasy Homes By The Sea returns to Really

Each episode will see a pair of house hunters head to the coast in search of their dream home. In this series, the participants will also be shown homes that are let out by their owners, to give them an insight into how much profit they could make on their potential property.

Former Watchdog presenter Michelle Ackerley will follow in the footsteps of Jenni Falconer and Catherine Gee to host the new 20-part series.

Last year saw UKTV deliver a 9.27% share of social impacts (SOCI), putting it marginally ahead of Sky’s branded channels (9.25%) and Channel 5’s portfolio (9.26%).

The results follow a big drive by the broadcaster to commission more original content. Storage Hunters UK Celebrity Special and Dave Gorman Modern Life is Goodish received UKTV’s highest ratings last year. Meanwhile comedy gameshow Taskmaster and sitcom Marley’s Ghosts also contributed to a boost in audience share.
