UKTV’s new commission will be Really channel’s first true crime series.

Detectives: My Killer Case explores some of Britain’s most notorious murder cases, following detectives as they recount their most haunting investigations.

The series reveals the stories of Britain’s most notorious female psychopath serial killers, as well as the case of the Suffolk Strangler.

Using police footage and expert evidence, the murder crime series offers an insight into how these infamous crimes were solved by the lead detectives.

“The deeply personal testimony of these detectives, recounting some of the most pivotal cases of their careers, will be really affecting,” commented commissioner Natalie Rose.

“The familiarity of the cases will resonate with us, but the intricate detail, surprising twists and turns, and acute pressure to solve them under the watchful glare of the media, will offer compelling insight into what it really takes to lead a case, solve murder, and protect the public.”

Really channel director Adam Collings added that “this series is our first true crime UKTV Original commission for Really and the cases will shine a light on how each detective came to crack the case, making for fascinating and insightful viewing.”

Detectives: My Killer Case will air on Really next year.
