Booking for the RTS Programme Awards 2016 in Partnership with Audio Network is now open.
Broadcaster Richard Madeley will host the ceremony which takes place at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Tuesday 22 March.
Nominees for 2016 were announced on Thursday 3 March.
The awards will take place on Tuesday 25 March 2025 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London.
The RTS Programme Awards are one of the gold standard awards in our industry and are an important showcase of the extraordinary talent evident across all genres in British television.

The nominations were presented this morning via a broadcast on the RTS website and YouTube channel by television presenter Gaby Roslin. Esteemed comedian Tom Allen will be returning to host the ceremony this year, which will be held on Tuesday 26th March at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
Awards are made across 30 competitive categories. This year, the Soap and Continuing Drama category has been broadened to admit any drama series with at least 20 episodes.
Kenton Allen, Chair of the RTS Programme Awards, said: “This year is proving to be another year of outstanding creativity, and we have seen – and I am sure will continue to see – genre-defining, high-quality television hit our screens.
“The juries once again are likely to have some tough decisions to make.”
The awards will take place on Tuesday 26th March 2024 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House, with nominations being announced in early March.
Across the 30 competitive categories, the RTS Programme Awards recognise programmes and performances which have made a significant contribution to the television industry and UK audiences. In particular, the juries look to identify and celebrate content which offers originality, the development of new genres, high quality, impact on audiences and technical and production excellence. The closing date for submissions is Friday 8th December 2023.
The prestigious awards will be presented, and the winners and nominees celebrated, on this page, hosted by renowned British television and radio presenter Jonathan Ross.
The nominations were announced this morning via livestream by British television presenter Ore Oduba.
After a challenging year filled with ingenuity, resilience and dedication across the industry, the BBC leads the way with 40 nominations across the 28 categories, followed by Channel 4 with 17 and Sky with 13.
In order to host the event responsibly, as well as continuing to celebrate the nominees’ achievements, a slimmed down, intimate presentation of the awards be live-streamed.
Nominees and RTS representatives will now be invited to the event with the broader industry able to watch via a live link.
The list of nominees was announced this morning by BBC journalist, writer and broadcaster Samira Ahmed at h Club in London’s vibrant Covent Garden.
