Ramy features a fascinating and hilarious collision of cultures. The comedy-drama follows Ramy, an American-Muslim, carefully navigating his faith and lifestyle choices in a seemingly apathetic New Jersey environment.

Created by and starring comedian Ramy Youssef, the series follows the titular Ramy (Youssef) on a conflicting spiritual journey, caught between his Muslim faith and his millennial friends in modern America.

The son of Egyptian immigrants Maysa (Hiam Abbass, Succession) and Farouk (Amr Waked, Lucy), Ramy is forced to navigate the opposing lifestyles of his Muslim community, who see life as a moral test, and his friends, who think life has no consequence.
