Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash confirm series two of BBC reality show Stacey & Joe

The first series of Stacey & Joe had a dedicated audience watching the couple juggle fame, fishing trips, six children, eight ducks, and two dogs.

The fly-on-the-wall reality show takes viewers behind the scenes of the Solomon-Swash empire – from award wins for Solomon’s Sort Your Life Out to the launch of her perfume line. Back home at Pickle Cottage, they don’t hide the reality of marital disputes and couples therapy sessions.

Series two will feature the pair’s continued balancing act between work and homelife, and feature a family getaway.

Viewers will be welcomed into Pickle Cottage, home not only to the couple, but also their five children, four ducks and two dogs. The kids – or Joe and Stacey’s ‘pickles’ – are aged between one and 16, and looking after all of them is no picnic. Add on top of that hectic work schedules and even more hectic personal projects, like building a two-acre fishing lake, and things only get more intense.

The show will be made by Optomen, the indie behind Stacey’s home decluttering reality show Sort Your Life Out.

Solomon’s love for organisation derives from a need for it - becoming a mother at 17 meant it was a necessity: “as soon as I had Zach, I was like, I've got to get my shit together. Because I'm living on a fish and chip shop wage, with working tax credits.
