The Late Late Show with James Corden heads to the UK

The award-winning The Late Late Show with James Corden will showcase special episodes for viewers in the UK exclusively on Sky 1 and NOW TV.

James Corden said of his trip: “To bring The Late Late Show to the UK is a dream come true for me. I'm incredibly proud of the show and we're going to do our best to make this week in London memorable.”

Corden will film three special episodes at Westminster's Central Hall in London this June, keeping the show's signature musical comedic segments but with influences of Corden's homeland.

The daily programme, hosted by comedian and actress Ellen DeGeneres, features a mixture of comedy, celebrity guests and topical human-interest stories.

The series will air on weekdays at 1.45pm, in line with the American air dates. Recent guests on the show have included the cast of Star Wars, US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and pop star Justin Bieber.

The news will please DeGeneres’ fans in the UK, who have had to resort to watching clips of the show on YouTube after UKTV channel Really pulled the plug after season 10.

Suits is back for a fifth season and a lot has changed since the legal drama first hit our screens back in 2011.

Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) is no longer the suave and arrogant city slicker we first met.

Season five finds the lawyer throwing his toys out of the pram as Donna, his longstanding PA, goes to work for his rival Louis (Rick Hoffman).

Meanwhile,  Specter’s former protégé Mike (Patrick J. Adams) is more focused on his recent engagement to Rachel (Meghan Markle).
