Channel 4 has announced an agreement with CBS Studios International, securing the UK broadcaster a roster of CBS’ iconic and contemporary television series that will air on Channel 4, E4, 4Music and All 4.
The selection also included exclusive autumn programming, including the new Charmed reboot, American sitcom Happy Together and political drama The Good Fight.
The Late Late Show has been a staple of American television for over 20 years, Corden took over as host of the nightly CBS chat show in March 2015.
Since then, it has been the celebrity studded video-segments 'Carpool Karaoke' that have made the show, and Corden, internationally known.
The deal, which Sky's Gary Davey called “one of the most important content deals Sky has ever agreed”, will give customers access to hit shows like Twin Peaks and The Affair.
This is the largest and most expansive international deal to date for CBS subsidiary Showtime, and marks the first time the US channel's content have been licenced to a single media company across multiple European territories.
