Charmed reboot and Happy Together are among the CBS titles acquired by Channel 4.

Channel 4 has announced an agreement with CBS Studios International, securing the UK broadcaster a roster of CBS’ iconic and contemporary television series that will air on Channel 4, E4, 4Music and All 4.

The selection also included exclusive autumn programming, including the new Charmed reboot, American sitcom Happy Together and political drama The Good Fight.

The re-imagining of the supernatural drama Charmed stars Melonie Diaz (The Breaks), Madeleine Mantock (Age Before Beauty) and Sarah Jeffery (Shades of Blue) as Melanie, Maggie and Macy. The three sisters discover they have magical abilities after the tragic death of their mother.

The highly anticipated drama will air on E4 later this year.

Also arriving on E4 is brand new comedy Happy Together, starring Damon Wayans Jr. (New Girl) and Amber Stevens West (Ghosted) as married couple Jake and Claire, who reconnect with their youth when young pop star Cooper (Neighbour’s Felix Mallard) moves into their home.

Happy Together’s setting is loosely inspired by the show’s executive producer and singer-songwriter Harry Style’s experience of living with fellow executive producer Ben Winston during Style’s success in One Direction.

The new agreement extended Channel 4’s rights to future seasons of political drama The Good Fight on More 4.

The sequel series to CBS’ The Good Wife, the political drama follows the adventures of Christine Baranski as attorney Diane Lockhart. Dealing with the ever-changing landscape of US politics, Lockhart is joined by her goddaughter Maia Rindell played by Game of Throne’s Rose Leslie.

Originally produced for CBS All Access, The Good Fight has become one of More 4’s most popular series.

Channel 4 has also secured an array of iconic CBS titles, including major sitcom Cheers for Channel 4 and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, which will air on 4Music.

Hit US comedy Rules of Engagement will also move to E4, and drama 90210 will be exclusively available on All 4.
