Kerry Katona and Love Island’s Georgia Steel are among the new celebrities lined up for the sixth series of Celebs Go Dating.
Joining them will be Chelsee Healey (Hollyoaks), Pete Wicks (The Only Way is Essex) and David Potts (Ibiza Weekender). Newly single Made in Chelsea’s Sam Thompson is also set to return, having appeared on series four.
The final mystery contestant will be announced live during the first mixer event, where the celebrities are tasked with securing their first date.
Matchmaker Paul Carrick Brunson will be joined by new life coach, journalist and presenter Anna Williamson. Together they will guide the celebrities through a series of one-to-one, double and mixer dates across the UK.
In the post-date debriefs, Junior Client Coordinator Tom Read-Wilson offers a sympathetic ear to the contestants as they discuss their dating fails and victories.
“I’ve never done anything like this before. If what I’ve been doing before hasn’t been working I may as well try something new,” commented Kerry Katona on her new role.
“I’ve been on dating apps but to be honest they didn’t work, I’m so excited to be joining the agency and see who Anna and Paul set me up with!”
Sam Thompson added, “I’ve had a rough old run in the love stakes so I’m back to my spiritual home at the dating agency! It’s about time I got lucky in love, so let’s see if this time round I can find that special someone!”
Previous contestants include Olivia Atwood (Love Island), Gemma Collins (The Only Way is Essex) and comedian London Hughes.
The new series will air in 2019 on E4.
