Grayson's Art Club

Grayson Perry: This England (working title) will see the artist search for objects, art, design, fashion, pop culture pieces, personal mementos, family heirlooms and memorabilia to help him create his own interpretation of what it means to be English.

Perry will collect these objects from the people he meets along the way, before displaying them in an exhibition at a prestigious gallery alongside his own works of art.

Grayson Perry says the inspiration for the series came from "all the talk about identity these days."

A very Irish comedy crime drama adapted from Graham Norton’s novel of the same name, with comedian Kathy Burke directing all four parts.

Artist Grayson Perry and his wife Philippa Perry will once again encourage the public to get crafty during lockdown and produce some creative works of art to an exciting chosen theme.

Each week, Grayson and Philippa will interview artists and celebrities about their creative processes and the artwork they have created, with each episode incorporating a chosen theme. The six themes of the series will be family, nature, food, dreams, work and travel, with members of the public encouraged to submit their own artworks.

Grayson’s Art Club will take viewers on an artistic journey to help ease the boredom of lockdown.

Each episode will have a theme and the series will include tips on how to take that first step into the art world, offer creative inspiration and show viewers how to have fun and create an artistic mess.

For each theme, Grayson will ask viewers to send in their creations, along with celebrity guests who will also be making their own artwork, with surprising results.
