Grayson’s Art Club will return for a second series with a whole host of celebrities taking part.
Artist Grayson Perry and his wife Philippa Perry will once again encourage the public to get crafty during lockdown and produce some creative works of art to an exciting chosen theme.
Each week, Grayson and Philippa will interview artists and celebrities about their creative processes and the artwork they have created, with each episode incorporating a chosen theme. The six themes of the series will be family, nature, food, dreams, work and travel, with members of the public encouraged to submit their own artworks.
The famous faces already confirmed to be showcasing their art for series two include singer Boy George, illusionist Derren Brown, comedians Mawaan Rizwan and Johnny Vegas, presenters Konnie Huq and Sue Perkins and actor Russell Tovey.
Helping Grayson choose from the public’s submissions during food week will be celebrity chef and food writer Nigella Lawson, while singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor will also make a guest appearance in dreams week.
The artists Rose Wylie, Sir Frank Bowling, Yinka Ilori, Ryan Gander and David Bailey will also open their virtual doors to viewers for a tour around their artists’ studios.
Grayson’s Art Club will return to Channel 4 on Friday 26th February at 8pm
